Product description

Almina is a diatomite-based mineral soil conditioner designed to improve the physical condition of soils in agriculture, horticulture and gardens. It is used to support soil structure and water-holding capacity, especially on light, sandy or stressed soils.

Composition

• Natural diatomite (siliceous fossil earth), mechanically processed, not chemically modified
• Contains naturally occurring alginic acid originating from geothermal deposits in Türkiye
• No added synthetic fertilisers or pesticides

Intended use

For use as a soil conditioner / soil improver on agricultural land, horticultural crops, turf and garden soils. Almina is used to support soil structure, porosity and water-holding capacity as part of an overall good soil and crop management programme.

Guideline rates (indicative only)

• Field and arable soils: typically 20–70 kg per acre, depending on soil type, crop and local agronomic advice
• Horticulture and beds: mix into soil or growing media according to local recommendations
• Turf and lawns: apply as part of renovation or top-dressing programmes on suitable sandy profiles

Use in organic farming

No claims are made for pest control, disease control or direct medicinal effects on plants, animals or humans.

Safety and handling

• Non-corrosive mineral product. Fine dust may be generated during handling
• Avoid breathing dust; use suitable respiratory protection in poorly ventilated areas
• Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse with clean water
• Wash hands after use
• Keep out of reach of children and animals
• Store in a cool, dry place, protected from rain and direct sunlight. Keep packaging intact
