Composition

  • Natural diatomite (siliceous fossil earth), mechanically processed, not chemically modified
  • Contains naturally occurring alginic acid originating from geothermal deposits in Türkiye
  • No added synthetic fertilisers or pesticides

Origin & importer:
Origin of mineral: Türkiye
Imported and distributed by: Kozok Limited, UK
Company number: 16351675

Intended use

For use as a soil conditioner / soil improver on agricultural land, horticultural crops, turf and garden soils. Almina is used to support soil structure, porosity and water-holding capacity as part of an overall good soil and crop management programme.

Guideline rates (indicative only)

  • Field and arable soils: typically 20–70 kg per acre, depending on soil type, crop and local agronomic advice
  • Horticulture and beds: mix into soil or growing media according to local recommendations
  • Turf and lawns: apply as part of renovation or top-dressing programmes on suitable sandy profiles

Always seek advice from a qualified adviser when integrating Almina into existing fertiliser and irrigation programmes. Do not exceed recommended rates without professional guidance.

Use in organic farming

Almina contains only mineral and alginate components and is suitable for use in many organic farming systems where such inputs are permitted by local rules. Always check with your organic certification body or advisor before first use to confirm acceptability within your specific organic standard.
